The second important individuality is Janusz Korczak (1878 – 1942) a Polish-Jewish educator, publicist, writer and physician. Korczak was marked by a very good sense of child’s psychology. He created an educational system based on a deep belief that respect and trust in children make them more independent. His upbringing focused on love, understanding, trust and respect. In Janusz Korczak’s system we can find a lot of important solutions in the sphere of child’s emotional needs as; closeness, warmth and kindness. His pedagogical solutions are relevant today and are a valuable source of inspiration. He was the creator of a series of original proposals which are still up to date.
